Our Story

GrabRaw was founded in 2025 by Tanish Raj, a university student from Gautam Budha University in Greater Noida, India. What started as a curiosity about how everyday products are actually built — from smartphones to shampoo — quickly became a mission to make supply chain knowledge accessible to everyone.

While studying at GB University, Tanish realized that finding the right components and materials to build a product was one of the biggest barriers for makers, students, small factories, and entrepreneurs across India and the world. Components are scattered across hundreds of supplier websites, catalogs are incomplete, and there's no single place to see the full picture. GrabRaw was born to fix that.

What began in a Greater Noida dorm room is now growing into a platform that helps builders anywhere in the world understand exactly what goes into a product and where to source it — locally and globally.

Tanish Raj is a student at Gautam Budha University, Greater Noida. He founded GrabRaw in 2025 with a simple belief: that supply chain knowledge should be as easy to find as a Google search. What started as a student project is now growing into a platform serving builders across India and beyond.
